Massage Therapy
Kevlar Performance Burlington
Move better. Get stronger. Stay active.
At Kevlar Performance & Rehab, massage therapy is about more than temporary relief. We help you address the underlying tension, dysfunction, and movement restrictions that keep you from performing at your best. If you're dealing with chronic tightness in your upper back from desk work, we don't just work out the knots and send you on your way. We address the patterns causing the tension and give you strategies to prevent it from coming back. That approach applies whether you're an athlete managing training volume or someone trying to get through the workday without constant discomfort.

Massage Therapy | Burlington
How It Works
Your first appointment includes an assessment to identify areas of tension, restriction, and dysfunction. We discuss your symptoms, movement limitations, and what you're trying to achieve. Treatment begins immediately. You leave with hands-on care and a clear understanding of what's contributing to the problem. Follow-up sessions typically range from 30 to 90 minutes depending on your goals and the area being treated.
Because we're a multi-disciplinary clinic with physiotherapists and chiropractors working alongside our massage therapists, your RMT can collaborate with other providers when it supports your progress. You get integrated care that addresses the full picture.
Conditions We Treat
We address a wide range of soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions. The most common reasons people come in for massage therapy at Kevlar are:
-
Chronic neck and shoulder tension (often related to desk posture or repetitive stress)
-
Muscle tightness and restricted range of motion (affecting training or daily movement)
-
Tension headaches and jaw pain (including TMJ dysfunction)
We also treat sports injuries, post-workout soreness, muscle strains, recovery support for active individuals, and soft tissue dysfunction that interferes with strength training or performance.
If you're dealing with persistent tightness, pain, or movement restrictions and you're not sure if massage therapy is the right approach, reach out. We'll help you determine if we're a good fit or point you toward the right care.
What Treatment Includes
Massage therapy at Kevlar Performance is clinical and results-focused. Depending on your needs, treatment may include:
-
Deep tissue massage to address chronic tension and adhesions
-
Myofascial release to restore tissue mobility and reduce restrictions
-
Trigger point therapy to release specific areas of dysfunction
-
Joint mobilization and passive stretching to improve range of motion
-
Self-care recommendations including stretches, foam rolling, and movement strategies
Every treatment is tailored to your body and your goals. No two patients present the same way, and neither do their treatment sessions.
Who We Work With
Kevlar treats everyone from high-performance athletes to people managing chronic tension from sedentary work. If you're training regularly and dealing with tightness or restricted mobility, we help you recover better and maintain the tissue quality needed to perform. If you've been living with chronic tension, headaches, or discomfort for months or years, we work with you to identify contributing factors and create lasting change.
