BROCK NOVAK

Doctor of Chiropractic

Brock completed his undergraduate studies at Brock University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. From there, he went to New York Chiropractic College to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic where he graduated with honours and was co-president of the Rehab2Performance club. He is also a certified neurofunctional acupuncturist, which he completed through the Contemporary Neurofunctional Acupuncture program at McMaster University.​

Growing up, he played many sports but pursued hockey competitively. Upon finishing playing hockey, he has taken up several other sports/activities as he is always up for a new challenge. When he is not with patients, Brock can usually be found in the gym.​

Throughout his life as an athlete, he has watched many friends and teammates suffer from injuries and go through a healthcare system that did not treat them as well as it could have. Brock wants to make your experience a more positive one. It is his mission to not just ease a few of your symptoms but to address the underlying cause of the issue and get you back to a life that you love.

KRISTINA DE LOS REYES

Doctor of Chiropractic

Kristina attended Wilfrid Laurier University, where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in French and Biology. She also has a post-graduate degree from Humber College in Clinical Research. From there, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College where she graduated with honours and was co-president of the Rehab2Performance club. She is also a certified neurofunctional acupuncturist.

 

Growing up, Kristina swam competitively and played rugby. She has since shifted her focus to strength training and is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. As an athlete, she has had her fair share of injuries and frustrations with the health care system, which inspired her to obtain her doctorate. Kristina is passionate about gut health, mechanical pain, and physical and mental strength.

 

Her goal is to work alongside you to find the root of your problem to get you back to doing what you love.

William Hann

Registered Physiotherapist

William Hann is a sports physiotherapist. He has several years experience working with multiple demographics of individuals including but not limited to children, seniors, expecting mothers and more. His passion is to get you back to your best self. 

Karolina Kuflewski

Physiotherapy Assistant 

Karolina attended Guelph-Humber University where she obtained a Honours Bachelor in Applied Science in Kinesiology as well as a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. Throughout her education, she has completed 250 hours in placements with experience working with practitioners and patients of many different backgrounds. As well, many of her classes included exercise labs, where she gained knowledge in proper technique/form and ergonomics. She is currently in the process of applying to graduate studies, specifically for a Masters in Physical Therapy. 

 

Karolina has been involved in sports her whole life, mainly playing flag football and volleyball throughout high school. Now, she enjoys staying active through running, strength training, and most especially hiking. In her free time you can catch Karolina taking her chocolate labrador, Rufus, on hikes all around the GTA.

Benn, Massage therapist, Burlington

Benn Knight 

Massage Therapist/ Trainer 

Benn attended York University where he got his Bachelors in Science Kinesiology. He was able to expand his technical understanding with practical volunteer and co-op experiences in Canada and the United Kingdom. He completed massage school at the Canadian College of Massage Therapy.

Benn's treatment can help with infant care, stroke, sport therapy, respiratory issues, migraines, jaw dysfunction, chronic back pain, migraines, and pre and post natal issues. 

Benn has worked with professional and international sports teams, with children with physical disabilities and chronic disease patients. He was privileged to also accept a sponsorship at one of England’s state-of-the-art chiropractic clinics.

Further education enhanced his practical abilities and knowledge in custom meal plans and personal training regimes, physiotherapy, rebound and hydrotherapies, wheelchair fitting, custom orthotic molds and algorithmic automation in the field of chiropractics.

His goal now is to apply this collective knowledge in a practical setting and help those who need it.

Emerito Reyes

Registered Massage Therapist

Emerito graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and was trained at the Acute and Chronic Unit and the Continuing Care Complex of the Toronto Rehab Institute.    He has an excellent track record in rehabilitation treatment having work in various rehabilitation clinics in Toronto the latest of which is in St. John Rehab campus of Sunnybrook Health & Science Centre.     He is well experienced in treating acute and chronic conditions resulting from soft tissue dysfunction, sports related injury and post surgical rehabilitation (i.e., multiple fractures with traumatic brain injury, multi level degree burns diagnosed w/ PTSD and scar tissue reformation) coming from various age demographics.

 

Emerito is certified in Fascial Restructuring Manual Therapy,  Soft Tissue Release, Deep Tissue Massage,  Advance Sports Massage, Athletic Taping to name a few. He recently attended courses in post concussion management and oncology massage as part of his continuing education.

Faisal Mahbouba

Registered Massage Therapist

Faisal is a graduate of Ontario College of Health and Technology and is a Registered Massage Therapist. He worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer for 8 years before deciding to continue his studies in manual therapy. He has developed extensive experience training clients ranging from professional athletes, to general population including adults and children. His goal is to teach his clients how to access the potential for optimal movement that lies within their own bodies.

Using a wide range of movement and strength testing, Faisal searches for the source of the problem rather than chasing the symptoms. His treatment approach utilizes a variety of fascial, soft tissue, and joint mobilization techniques as well as a personalized home exercise program to promote longer lasting changes and empower the client to participate in their own healing journey.
