Shockwave Therapy
Kevlar Performance Burlington
Move better. Get stronger. Stay active.
Shockwave therapy is a treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in a painful or injured area of the body.
A therapist places a small device against your skin. The device sends rapid sound-wave pulses into the tissues. These waves can:
-
Stimulate the body's natural healing process
-
Increase blood flow to the treated area
-
Encourage tissue repair and regeneration
-
Help reduce pain and improve movement
-
Break down or disrupt calcium deposits, such as those sometimes found in tendons
